Non-local Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation

A nonlocal Schrödinger equation applicable for molecular systems
with long-range interactions and for media with saturating dispersion curves is proposed.
Two types of stationary solutions are found. One of them becomes a crest soliton at
the maximum of the spectral parameter. The dynamics of the standing solitons is investigated
and collapse-like behavior is observed.
