Welcome to my home page. I have recently completed my Ph. D. at Heriot Watt university.
My Ph. D. Thesis is on "Partial Regularity of Local Minimisers in the Calculus of Variations" for which I was supervised by Dr Jan Kristensen of Magdalen College, Oxford, and Dr Bryan Rynne of Heriot Watt University.
I obtained a BSc Hons in Mathematical Physics from The University of Sussex in 2001, then spent three months in industry on a mathematical modelling Project for Calidus Engineering Ltd, bofore completing an MSc in Complex fluids at Aberystwyth University. For my M.Sc. dissertation I worked on "Inverse Problems in Relaxation Spectrum Recovery [for complex fluids]", under the supervision of Dr Rob Douglas, Institute of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Aberystwyth.
