MVL	Page 20. Not really a typo but an update. Question 1 of Exercises 2.3 should now read `was' rather than `is'. Raymond Smullyan  (1919--2017). It is worth reading the Wikipedia article on Smullyan; not many mathematicians are described as `taoists'.
MVL	Page 123. We should define a . b = n(n(a) + n(b)) since I have used n to denote the unary operation in a Robbins algebra.
MVL	Page 125. Replace `We by' by `to be'.
MVL	Page 276. Last sentence of the proof of Theorem 8.5.22. Each of the six statements is equivalent to each of the other five.
MVL	Page 381. Exercises 11.3. Question 3. The inequality to be used should be (1 + x)^n \geq 1 + nx. This is often known as Bernoulli's inequality.
