Maxwell Symposia on Computational Mathematics

This symposium provides a forum for the exchange of ideas by bringing together researchers from Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt interested in computational mathematics and its applications. Our meetings consist of an hour guest lecture delivered by an invited plenary speaker, followed by a number of short presentations by local staff members and PhD students. The second part of the symposium focuses on current research and open problems, and it is aimed at stimulating discussion.
