How to Install WAVETRAIN0.1

1. Download the single file wavetrain0.1.tar (7MB) by clicking here.

2. Expand it by typing

   tar -xf wavetrain0.1.tar

   (at the system prompt). This will create a directory wavetrain0.1 containing all of the WAVETRAIN files. The tar file can now be deleted by typing

   rm -f wavetrain0.1.tar

   although this is not necessary.

3. Go into the new directory by typing

   cd wavetrain0.1

4. Type

   ./install

   which will display the copyright, distribution and disclaimer statement. You must enter y or Y at the prompt to confirm that you have read and understood the statement (which can also be seen here) and agree to the conditions. Unless you do this, WAVETRAIN will not work.

5. Now run the post-installation tests described in the user guide, which is documentation/userguide.pdf. The user guide can also be viewed and downloaded independently of the software, as described below.
