Profile
As of February 3rd, 2011 I am a PhD student at the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (MACS) of Heriot Watt university in Edinburgh, working on mathematical physics. My office is situated on the top floor of Colin McLaurin building and you will regularly find me there because as people back home used to say«Χαλεπὰ τὰ καλά.»
or translated to what they actually say today«Αν δεν βρέξεις κώλο, δεν τρως ψάρι.»
By the way, home is an island in southwest Greece called Zakynthos. When I'm not doing research
There's a number of things I occupy myself with when I'm not doing physics. Here's a (not so) short list.- I'm a warden for Heriot-Watt's halls of residence.
- I do some tutorials for MACS.
- I enjoy doing sports (football, basketball, swimming, climbing, you name it!)
- Listening to and playing music.
- I always enjoy a good book.
- My most favorite activity though would be what I call "Late night philosophy"
