SCMS - background

The Scottish Computational Mathematics Symposium (SCMS) one day meetings are held annually in September with the aim of bringing together mathematicians and others who develop and/or use computer algorithms to solve mathematical problems. The meetings are open to everyone interested and have so far been organised by David Sloan (Mathematics, Strathclyde University) and Dugald Duncan (Mathematics, Heriot-Watt University). Click here for information on previous and forthcoming SCMS meetings.

Registration deadline: for the SCMS one-day meeting is 5 September. Click here for the registration form.

Fee: £20 (includes lunch) - students can apply for fee to be waived.

Dinner: there is an optional conference dinner in the evening, at a cost of approximately £25.
