Kinetics of Cell Surface Capping

Abstract
In a recent paper, a new theory of cell surface
capping based on the principles of nucleation was proposed.
We show how this model can be fitted into the same
mathematical framework as the Becker-Döring equations.
We show that the equations in the paper have a
Lyapunov function and investigate its use in describing
the phase transition.
