The Organising Committee reserve the right to make changes to the content of any tours or visits. Please note that all visits/tours must be booked no later than 28 May 1999.

Accommodation

Owing to the demand for accommodation in Edinburgh all University accommodation must be reserved and paid for before 18 DECEMBER 1998. Hotel Accommodation must be reserved by 1 MAY 1999. Accommodation reservations cannot be guaranteed after these dates.

University Accommodation

En-suite and standard accommodation has been reserved in a number of universities/colleges in the city. All prices quoted are per room per night, for single occupancy or double occupancy as indicated and include breakfast, VAT and service.* A limited number of 5-person self catering flats are also available. These must be booked for one week from Saturday to Saturday, ie arriving 3 July 1999 and departing 10 July 1999.

Hotel Accommodation

A large number of rooms have been secured for ICIAM 99 in a variety of 3, 4 and 5 star properties in the city. To select hotel accommodation please indicate your chosen price band (A, B or C) below.

*THE DEADLINE FOR BOOKING HOTEL ACCOMMODATION THROUGH THE CONGRESS SECRETARIAT HAS NOW PASSED. SOME CONGRESS HOTELS HOWEVER MAY STILL HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE. PLEASE CONTACT CONGRESS HOTELS DIRECTLY (SEE LIST FOR TEL/FAX NUMBERS)

The prices quoted are per room per night, for single or double occupancy as shown, and include full Scottish breakfast (unless otherwise stated), VAT and service.

Included in the billing generated by this system will be a non-refundable deposit for the band chosen. This is required to secure your booking. This deposit is calculated at the maximum cost of 1 night's accommodation in a single or double/twin room in this band and will be forwarded to your designated hotel in advance of your stay. This deposit will be credited to your final bill.

CANCELLATION

Cancellations received on or before 5 June 1999 will be refunded minus an administration charge of £50.00 per person. Fees will not be refunded for cancellations received after 5 June 1999. This applies to registration fees only. Hotel deposits will not be refunded; however, University accommodation may be refunded if rooms can be resold.

LIABILITY

Meeting Makers acts only as an Agent for hotels and other accommodation units and does not contract as a principal. Accordingly it will not be liable for any loss or damage due or arising from any acts or omissions of persons, forms or companies for whom it acts as agents.

When you submit this form, your costs will be calculated on the basis of the preferences which you've chosen and a virtual invoice will be returned to you. You then have the option of filling in credit card details and returning the form or printing the invoice and submitting it either by fax or post.
