The 64th European Study Group with Industry

The Study Group has now finished.

Heriot-Watt University, in association with the University of Edinburgh, the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) and the Maxwell Institute, will be hosting the 64th European Study Group with Industry (ESGI 2008) from 7th to 11th April 2008. The workshop is being organised by the ICMS and the Smith Institute and is being supported by the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, the London Mathematical Society, the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council
The Study Group, which will take place at Heriot-Watt's Edinburgh campus, will follow the usual format of presentations from industry introducing a problem on the first day, followed by intensive work on the problem by groups during the next three days and presentations by the academics on the final day. A report on each problem will be prepared after the meeting. More detailed information about the event and a registration form can be found at the ICMS website.
