The Special Topics will be assessed by presentation and submitted essays.
The other modules will be assessed via a mixture of examination and continuous assessment.
After the written examinations are complete there will be a project in order to obtain the MSc. This will involve working on a problem and then writing a dissertation on the topic over the summer. In a few cases it may be with a bank, investment firm or consultancy and will allow you to use the skills acquired in the course and gain the experience of relevant problem solving in the finance industry.
The final weeks of the course will be spent writing up the dissertation.
